Sometimes instructors may find out that they have mistakenly deleted content from their Canvas course shell. In this case, instructors can recover such content by adding /undelete at the end of their course Canvas URL.
For example, if the course URL is https://canvas.iastate.edu/courses/12345, the instructor can go to https://canvas.iastate.edu/courses/12345/undelete to restore deleted content. Please note that the five digits in the URL will be different (it will not be 12345) since each course has its unique identification number. In the example above, the Canvas course number is 70492.
If this method does not work, and if the deleted content was originally pushed out from a Blueprint course, the course admin can send/copy pages from the original Blueprint course to associated courses. For ISUComm courses, instructors may contact the Online Learning Team (olt@iastate.edu) if such assistance is needed.
