Instructors use a <a href=\"https:\/\/support.isucomm.iastate.edu\/foundation-instructor-guide\/midsemester-student-survey\/\">midterm assessment<\/a> to gather feedback from students while there is still an opportunity to make changes in a course. All instructors use a standard course evaluation form at the end of the term. Both the qualitative and quantitative feedback from students are used in instructor performance reviews and in assessing the overall effectiveness of departmental courses.
