You are expected to allow your students class time to complete the online Class Climate survey about their experiences in your class during the semester. Students have the right and the responsibility to provide their input about their learning experiences, according to the university. Course evaluations become available to students about two weeks before the end of the semester. Allot some time (approximately 15 minutes) at the beginning of class during one of the days your class meets in a computer lab or on any day if you are in a laptop classroom to allow students to complete the survey. To promote honest evaluations, you should leave the room and wait in the hallway while students complete their evaluations. Ask a student to come and get you when students are finished with their surveys and you can continue class.
