This will open a new tab.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:separator --><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<!-- \/wp:separator --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enrolling_Students\"><\/span><strong>Enrolling Students<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>If you return to the \u201cPrepare to Teach\u201d browser tab that you opened previously, you can enroll your students from this screen by selecting the green<strong>&nbsp;Enroll Students<\/strong>&nbsp;button next to the appropriate ISU Course ID section.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enrolling your students&nbsp;will allow them to view the course card on the dashboard, but will NOT allow them to view any course content, until your course is published<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Once you enroll students, they will start to appear in the&nbsp;<strong>People&nbsp;<\/strong>menu of your Canvas course<\/li>\n<li>You can begin to enroll students approximately three weeks before the start of classes<\/li>\n<li>If you have multiple sections, make sure you enroll ALL sections (for example \u2013 M E 518 and M E 518 XE would BOTH need to have enrollment enabled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:separator --><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<!-- \/wp:separator --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Publishing_your_Course\"><\/span><strong>Publishing your Course<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Enrolling your students does NOT make your course available to students. If you want to publish your course, you can do this using the green button to the right of the Enroll students button.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Publishing your course AND enrolling your students makes the course available to students for the ISU start of term. If instructors would like to change student participation dates, they can do so via the \u201cManage Sections\u201d link in ISU Admin tools.
