1. What are notifications?
Notifications let you know when something has happened in your course. You can have notifications emailed to you and you can choose which notifications you want to receive.
2. Notifications settings
2a. Receive notifications by email or SMS
Go to Account -> Settings.
Under “Ways to Contact” put in the email and/or phone number where you want to receive notifications.
2b. Select which notifications you receive
Go to Account -> Notifications.
Here, you can select which notifications you receive and how often you receive them. “Push Notifications” will only be sent if you have enabled Push Notifications in the Canvas Teacher app on your mobile phone.
2c. Receive different notifications from different classes
This option is currently not available. If you elect to receive a certain notification type, you will receive it from all classes.
